"An amazing stay. The kindest and most helpful staff I've experienced while in Chiang Mai, by far. Perfect rooms, very clean, with great amenities. The location, directly on Walking Street, could not be better. The weekend night market is outside your doorstep, so you can pop in and out to grab things with ease. I lost an important item and one of the gentleman concierge helped me look for it several different times. I received an email in the morning that it was found, which saved my entire trip! I have already extended, and likely will again."

"This property was awesome. Staff was awesome which makes it top tier. Variety of protein in the morning for breakfast which was included. None of the amenities worked after a while, I stayed for a month but accommodations for the swimming pool were made. Close to the malls, very safe location. Walking distance to all markets, entertainment and food. Everything you need is right there, smoke shop, massages, food, motorbike rentals. 7 eleven of course 😂. The gym, shoe wear, pharmacies. Coffee shops. Everything is over there in walking distance so great location. You will not be disappointed staying here and I highly recommend. The cleanliness, housekeeping daily, laundry wash dry and fold and iron. Great service overall. The staff is very helpful with scheduling tours and transportation. This overall is a great place to be."

"I have been staying at this hotel whenever I am in Chiang Mai. Of course Shangri-La Chiang Mai is the hotel very popular with tourists. It is good because of all the facility they provided and a 5 star hotel in the heart of Chiang Mai. If you want to relax and enjoy the facilities Shangri La is the upmarket hotel. However if you are on a shopping spree & relax tour. The Empress Chiang Mai provides all you need for value and its location & comfort. Chiang Mai & Chiang Rai is my preferred destination for Northern Thailand away from bustling Bangkok"
