"This is a great family vacation stay. The property has everything and you cannot beat the location! Right on the beach and walking distance to restaurants. Not that you need to go anywhere, there are plenty of eating places on site that are delicious. The staff is so helpful and nice, you really never need to leave. "Great place! Me and my parents planned a staycation in La Jolla. We stayed on the first floor, I wish I could have been in a higher floor to enjoy the view more and have a bit more privacy, since our balcony was right next the rail to go into the hotel and people were passing by a bit. But still very nice place to stay in. The renovated rooms are super nice and very spacious. The only complaint I have for my stay was the Valet parking. It took about 30 minutes (if not more) to get my car parked....

About a 18 min drive from the main shops and restaurants area, great pool and amenities, restaurant and cafe on site were nice to have when travelling with small kids. The property is well maintained. Rooms are comfortable, could be a bit updated and cleaner but the beds and bedding were clean and comfortable. "I needed a last-minute place to stay near the airport. The photos looked decent, and it was cheap. This is hands down the dirtiest, most run-down property I have ever stayed at. The restroom reeked of pot. The room was disgusting with stained walls and doors. The shower was falling apart, with the shower curtain letting all the water spill on the floor. If you are okay with slumming it and just need somewhere to stay, then I guess you can handle one night. But, if you have a family or care about...
