"The walk in shower is configured weird. Maybe it was once a tub shower and they tried to convert it. You have to walk into the shower to turn the faucet on so guess what...you get hit with cold water. That was the only negative I had about the place. "

"The Painted Lady is truly a gem! The rooms are great, staff are wonderful and accommodating, and it was great having off street parking next door. There are a ton of fantastic restaurants as well as wine & cocktail bars within a 10 minute walk. We were just passing through Birmingham on our way to New Orleans but after our experience at the Painted Lady we plan on making it a several day stop on our next southern excursion. "
