"Alberto is a fantastic host who goes out of his way to help. His place is tucked into the top floor and has a side deck that is beautiful. One has to ascend to the bed area by a ships ladder but its very comfy. Also the shower is fabulous. A real treat to stay here. "

The only thing which we'd change if we stayed again would be to ask for a room on an exterior wall of the building. Our room was an interior one with the main door onto the corridor, and another door onto a common outdoor area. "Amazing hotel. The owner who is also the sculptor and a collector has done everything, including furnishing, etc custom. The experience was beyond any expectation. Francesca, the concierge was amazing. The staff were attentive and very professional. Incredible experience."

"It’s a really nice apartment in a historic building in the old Lecce. The location is very safe and convenient to explore the old town. There is also a street parking within 5 min walk, which was very helpful. Desideria is wonderful and very easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend. "

"Staff is good and location is great. The need for improvement should be in amenities and infrastructure, ie breakfast, towels, soap, tissues and ventilation. Overall it is more a boutique hotel and shouldn’t be advertise as a five star establishment."
