"This is a beautiful and unique property on a hillside in Guayaquil. It is surrounded by beautiful gardens and a pool overlooking the city. The rooms and showers are really quirky and spacious. Delicious food is available for lunch and dinner on request. You do need to take a taxi or Uber to other parts of the city because it is isolated from urban neighborhoods. I stayed here for five nights while on a business trip and was so happy to have a tranquil retreat. "

"I liked it , it has a tropical vibe to it that you dont find in other chain hotels for considerable more money, breakfast used to be amazing, now its good,good section of baked goods, cold cuts, cheeses, but some items could improve their quality, some of their staff could be more acomodating speacilly me being alone with a child, and keep their voice down at the dining areas, pool is not warm, but most of the time you dont need it to be, overall a great experience food and all. "

"This place is amazing: An old building with old furnishing (pictures, photos, furniture décor), full of character. The neighbourhood is very safe, with lots of restaurants and bars (as well as some shops, art galleries, even a theatre) in very easy reach, and an easy walk from the Malecón and downtown Guayaquil. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast was fine. But again, it is the building that is the star here: an exceptional place in an exceptional location. Highly recommended."
