"Don’t stay here if you’re planning to cook your own food. The kitchen had no utensils to cook with at all, no pots or pans, or anything of the sort. Why stay in an apartment that you can’t cook your own food in? It’s pointless."

"The room was massive, the furniture could have been placed a little more imaginatively but that was a style thing. The bed was comfortable. Lots of hot water. The kitchenette was functional. Rm 43 needs a little bit of love re the mixer tap, and the carpet is threadbare in one spot. The hotel is large, the bar can be a little noisy at the beginning of the night, but then as the night progresses our room was very quiet and looked out into the courtyard. The restaurant serves a very good breakfast...

"Great location, clean comfy rooms. Pool and spa were nice. A little disappointed the spa was out of service when we first got there, but it was open later in the visit so that was good."

The only reason I booked this hotel, which is not as close to amenities (except central market) as other hotels was to access what appears to be the only hotel indoor heated pool in Adelaide. This was not working - it was freezing. Apparently it was a maintenance issue they’d “just heard about” that day and there were maintenance staff there to fix it (we saw no one). No one advised us of this, prior to (or at) check in, even though I specifically...

"The hotel is beautiful with great food. The only problem is the location of it. It’s on a busy ‘party’ street with loud noises and locals say it can be dangerous to walk at night."

"Been to this hotel a number of times, it now feels it needs ‘something’ to set it apart from its contemporaries in the same area. Paying extra for a corner room, we found the bathroom was less lux than most other bathrooms in similar properties, no bath, under pressured small standard shower etc. the staff remain awesome, as does the bar but In a saturated Adelaide market, with new hotels planned, despite being a recent addition, the Crowne must adapt & make changes or it will be less favoured."
