"I stayed at the Monument Mountain Motel twice in the past month...this is a cute little Ma-Pa motel that has everything you need for a nice stay. The check-in was easy and the host was very accommodating, in one case I had to arrive very late and we worked out an arrangement. The exterior and the rooms were very clean, well-kept and updated, with awesome water pressure in the shower. "The entry to the bed and breakfast was through the owner's residence. The state of the entry probably should have given a clue about the cleanliness of the rooms. The floors in the hallway looked as though they hadn't seen a vacuum in a year. Layers of dust on the furniture in the room, and floors that were not cleaned prior to my arrival. The shared bathroom hadn't been cleaned and the shower curtain was covered in pink mold. An old used facecloth hung inside the shower. I made this reservation...
