"Host is awesome. The house decor is unique and interesting to see the things collected on the host's travels. Breakfast was delicious. The only negative experience was the size of the bed. We booked the room that advertised a king sized bed, and it wasnt a king. It was two double mattresses pushed together. The drawback of this was my feet dangled off the bed all night long. I have a king at home and was hoping to achieve the same level of comfort. Other than that, everything was wonderful. "

"Renovated smaller Hotel and super clean room. We were amazed. The Hotel is in a very quiet area with plenty of parking. No elevator due to the small size of Hotel.
Check -in clerk was not very welcoming. Suggestion: A warm hello and a smile go a long way especially when working at the Reception desk.
Check-out clerk was amazing.
Would definitely stay here again when in the Gatineau/Ottawa area."

"The furniture was badly in need of replacement. Desk chair in poor shape. Duvet would not stay in the cover. Fridge broken but a replacement set up in room. I did not get the room I had viewed online. I wanted a view and all I had was a roof covered in paving stones.
The breakfast was good as well as the pool."

"Spartan. Unable to add heat, a single thin blanket (had to get another one), alarm in a room nearby was going off every few minutes, nobody at reception to collect key. Within walking distance of several restaurants. Minimalist concrete box. Good for a dorm, not for a more deserving guest. Had to use this facility as very few rooms in vicinity. Highly unlikely I would return."
