"Everything was great the breakfast was great the women did an excellent job the staff was very nice but the room was a little nasty we ran to Walmart and got Clorox wipes and Lysol and cleaned our room down cause it smelled like pee"

The room was clean and adequate, however there were obvious repairs that needed to be done - the towel rack in the bathroom was hanging by two screws and it was obvious staff were aware of it as the towels were piled on the toilet tank; kind of interesting this simple repair was not done. "The place is very unique. You feel as if you are staying in the middle of the forest. Older building with older plumbing. We rented 2 rooms. First room a/c was great. 2nd room, the a/c was not responding to the thermostat. It was too cold. They said they would fix-they did not. Offered a couple of blankets. loved sitting on the balcony and enjoying nature. We enjoyed breakfast every morning. Limited to typical buffet items-scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. "Price was great. Get what you paid for. It worked for the short time we were there where the late night arrival and early morning head out. Shower hand will fell off but we were able to put it back on. Can't beat the price."

"The room floor was sticky. They only provided 2 towels for a standard double bed room for 4 people and staff was not helpful when called to request more towels. The housekeeping staff also took away 1 towel and bathroom floor towel when they cleaned the room so we were left with 1 towel on Day 2 of our stay between 4 people and when we called front desk they did not have towels for us and did not know how to access the laundry room. "Room was run down. Lock for door was hanging off the wall. Holes all in the bathroom walls. Smelled like smoke even tho it was a non smoking room. Blanket had cigarette burn holes in it. Pool was closed and covered and it was mid June. Looks like it hasn’t been open in a while. Was advertised with pool but definitely not open and working. Didn’t bother with breakfast. Was kinda sketchy"
