"Everything was excellent, only issue was there was a private function on and we were informed the bar would be closed to us after 9pm on the second night! First time ever this has happened and we have stayed in multiple hotels! Guests in the hotel shouldn’t be refused access to the bar at all. "

"The Thames Head Inn is a great gem. It's about a 1 mile walk from the Kemble train station, I walked alongside the road since taxi service is scarce and had no problems. There aren't any other businesses nearby, so I ate dinner there as well (delicious) and paid for breakfast the next morning (also delicious). Having stayed at a couple others including Lords of the Manor, the positives of this one in comparison are: its easier to get to from London, the grounds are amazing and impeccable, its a truly remote feel among the hills, land and animals of Cotswolds, and the michelin starred Dining Room is probably the best food in the Cotswolds. "Our visit to Cotswold Grange was first time and we were very impressed that we would consider staying again. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent and the chef catered for my dietary needs. The hotel is not far from the town centre so it was an easy walk there and back eliminating the need to look for parking. Our visit was a one night stay for a theatre trip but we feel we would like to explore the surrounding area in the future. "
