"This is an incredibly nice hotel with lots of interesting artifacts on display, an excellent conference room, nice continental breakfast, and very comfortable and spacious rooms. There are no elevators but there are only 2 floors. This may influence your decision whether to stay here if stairs are a problem for you. The staff members are articulate, very friendly and helpful. "After we checked in and our kids were changed to go swimming we went to the pool only to find out that someone had literally pooped in the pool, like 15 turds all over the bottom of the pool. Alerted the front desk because they were unaware, so they closed the pool and refunded our money because that was the main purpose of coming to Dayton a day early was so our kids could swim and we would be in town the following morning to go to the Air Force Museum. "The second floor is in need of washroom overhaul. I have stayed on the first floor before so I know the hotel is good, but the second floor washrooms were gross so now that I know that I might not book on expedia again so that I can make a request for the first floor. The best part of this hotel is the pool which is very well maintained and beautiful."

"The rooms were clean, but there was a stench in the room and it seems like other viewers have had this problem other than me. My big problem with this hotel is that I misplaced my wallet which is totally on me, but I asked if we could view the cameras to see if I dropped outside my room and if someone picked it up, I got told the camera room is locked then got told there is no cameras except for the one in the lobby that doesn’t record which is nuts to me, so there is no security cameras around...

"Staff was very friendly and accommodating, rooms were clean with comfortable beds and updated bathrooms. Location is great-we were in town for the Air Force Museum, and this hotel is right across the street. Breakfast was fine...a standard complimentary hotel breakfast. My only criticism is the coffee at breakfast. It's that terrible post-mix machine coffee, rather than brewed. I'm a bit of a coffee addict, and this just didn't do it for me. "The reception staff was extraordinary. When I was checking in, Phyllis noticed a man come in and look my way. She asked if he was with me (he was), noticing he seemed interested in me. I appreciate her concern for my safety! She also told us about nearby restaurants that offer discounts to people staying at the hotel."

"The room was clean and basic which was fine and easy to check. The free breakfast was good enough and easily accessed. One inconsistency was the unexpected charge increase for our dog as Expedia’s website and the hotel’s charge was different. Staff responded with that it was not their concern as this was booked through Expedia. Still, the hotel was fine."
