"Traveling, so I only stayed one night. Only thing that stood out was that the desk clerk saw that I was elderly and limping slightly, and gave me a room really close to the front desk, and the breakfast bar. I thought that was pretty thoughtful. Didn't get his name but he was very young and courteous...."

"The property was very close to the Beckley YMCA soccer facility. For the price it was fine. The promised breakfast became a muffin and coffee largely due to the lobby being in the midst of remodeling. Most of the property and the rooms were clean but kind of worn out. A/C in our room worked at times and others not. I'm certain that the staff would have moved us had we expressed our concerns. The beds also seemed worn out. "The property was clean and quiet ( no road noise) the bed was comfortable, the access to my room was good. The price is unbeatable! Only negative is the carpet in the room . Needs to be replaced. Has permanent stains. Room has a microwave and mini fridge . I felt safe staying there. I have stayed there three times in the past two years . It is very convenient to Hwy 77. "The room wasn't ready when I got there. It's was a no smoking but smelled terrible of cigarette smoke. There was a puppy in the room next to mine that cried half the night. No coffee cups or creamer. Definitely not worth what I had to pay. Had to ask for ice, they would give it out in a plastic bag. Definitely will not stay there again."
