"Cute place, nicely renovated, clean, the check in lady was very friendly, they are dog friendly and have a VIP wall with all the dogs that have stayed. Look up the history of the Loyal Duke, if you love dogs it’s a tear jerker. We had a fantastic time and would stay here again."

"The Browns Canyon Inn is a great little hotel inside Salida. The front desk assistant, Kathy, was very cordial and helpful. The breakfast was surprisingly extensive for an inn this size. My only minor disappointment was the age of the mattress. You can tell that they have seen their better days. ..."
