"We like everything about this hotel. We've stayed there before. The manager Andrew is a wonderful host and makes sure our stay us enjoyable, and that we have everything we need. He also has a staff at the front desk that are very friendly and welcome everyone that comes into the hotel. His maid staff does a phenomenal job of keeping our room clean and stocked without asking. I mentioned to him how excellent they were. I will be back next year. I come yearly to see my son and grandson that live...

"Pool was great (clean and stocked) and the front desk staff were so kind and lovely upon check in and check out. We used this as a staycation for our kids to swim and relax and it did not disappoint. Given the chance we will be back!"

"The Lamplighter is the place I always stay at when I am in this section of Connecticut. It has Clean Rooms, Comfortable Beds, Good Working Air-conditioning, plenty of Hot Water for the Shower, a Low Price, Friendly Staff, Microwaves and Refrigerators, close to the Highway, walking distance to a Great Restaurant ( the Log Cabin). I'm already looking forward to my Return."
