Cheap room for a quick stay. That's about as far as it goes. Rooms are I'm need of some restoration. Damaged tiles and chipped paint everywhere. Service at the restaurant was great but unfortunately we ordered the Angel hair pasta with chilli/Prawns etc. At $36 a main I expected to see some Prawns in there. I think I found 4 or 5 smallish pieces and I mean a piece was about 1cm big. No chilli that I could taste and definitely wasnt seasoned. One of the Angel hair pasta dishes was in a pool of oil and the other was not. It resembled chicken noodle soup to be exact. Couldnt taste any saffron. Hands down probably the most ripped off meal i have had in a while. Hard to stomach. Our food arrived in 30 seconds so we decided not to stay as the dining experience was over pretty quick. Also be wary. They make you pay extra money as a security deposit and don't give you your money for 48 hours after checkout. Maybe they should use the interest they make of that money to buy some more Prawns for their menu items. Avoid the dining experience and head into town.

Hi Michael,I'm sorry to hear your stay wasn't up to expectation.The Angel Hair pasta is made to the same recipe across all three properties we manage, including the award winning Jonahs boutique Restaurant.I take it you haven't travelled in a good while as security deposits are commonplace in the industry. They can take up to 14 days to return to you, we speed this process up by manually releasing every bond so that you get your money back faster. We do not make interest. Sorry for the inconvenience.

This property looked beautiful online and had good general reviews and hence we booked it for our last trip. Following are the areas of concern that one should consider before planning to stay here - 1 - Rooms are very old and not very well kept. They are in a desperate need of refurbishment. 2 - There is very limited to no undercover parking. You would be parking on the side of street as the current undercover parking is largely occupied by permanent residents. 3 - There are no lifts. You should expect to carry your luggage over several floors. Even the room that was advertised as ‘Ground’ required us to take 3 flights of stairs. Overall I would not recommend this place. There are certainly better options available in the beautiful city of Coffs Harbour.

I loved everything in Pacific Bay resort. The only issue I faced was 1. Pitch black road at night after returning from dinner. Bit scary. 2. Though I was lucky to have a parking space but I could see other guests were struggling to find parking under the parking lot instead they had to park on the roadside and the roads were absolutely dark, no lights. Overall, Gentle staff, amazing ambience in the main hall. Rooms where very nit and tidy. Loved it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the resort and would highly recommend it to others. The accommodations were extremely comfortable and the facilities were top-notch. From the swimming pool to the spas , everything was well-maintained and easily accessible. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we can't wait to return.

The location of the resort was right off the highway. The staff were friendly. The resort rooms are looking dated but they are in good repair. The restaurant by the main lobby was amazing. Easy walk to the beach but not recommended for people with walking or stair issues. Drive your car.

Beautiful Grounds. Clean, but dated Rooms.
Nice property. Clean, spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Property is a bit dated without any USB outlets and not enough electrical outlets including the desk area where it is necessary to unplug the TV or desk light to plug in a laptop. The AC barley cooled the room.

After a long drive from interstate arrived at reception to be greeted by receptionist who didn’t seem to happy to be at work, we all have bad days but that is your job to greet customers. Then told the Restraunt was closed for a function which was the main reason we chose to stay there so we didn’t have to drive anywhere to get dinner . Finally got our room to have a long awaited shower only for our bathroom to flood due to a blocked drain. Went back to reception to let them know and felt like I was being a pain in the arse for complaining about the issue . Thinking they were going to swap our rooms they said they would get the maintenance guy to come and fix the problem which was sorted eventually. We let our little girl out onto the balcony then realised she was picking up old cigarette buts obviously left there from a previous guest ( grub ) we ended up picking up and throwing away half a dozen butts ( disgusting ) obviously missed by the cleaners Was very disappointing

Great stay. Enjoyed the pool, buffet breakfast, proximity to beach, privacy. Room was very clean. Parking can be difficult and access to our room (1112) meant walking over dirt which was a bit bizarre.

This page is NOT for anyone that cannot do stairs. It's a bit difficult to get around and figure out where you are going. It was 102 stairs, not steps, from the bottom of the stairs to our room. Very nice place once you get there. Very limited covered parking, otherwise, you are parking on a hill behind the parking garage.

I liked the staff and activity options around the property. The studio room I stayed in this time was a little sub-par compared to the other rooms I’ve stayed in, like the executive suite, in this property in the past. The bed was comfy however, the towels and floor was not as clean as other rooms available. Hopefully, it was a one-off. I’ve stayed many times in this resort and always find it a happy place.
