"We had a great stay at Cobblestone Inn & Suites in Monticello, Iowa. The hotel was very clean, quiet, and had ample parking. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Our room was comfortable, and the beds and pillows made for a great night's sleep. The complimentary continental breakfast was a nice way to start the morning before getting back on the road. One thing to note for future guests is that the hotel has only two floors...

"I would never stay at this hotel again. The room was dirty from the moment we walked in, and it was obvious that cleanliness was not a priority. To make matters worse, there was a gas leak that the hotel appeared to be aware of but failed to properly address or disclose to guests. That was completely unacceptable and made us feel unsafe throughout our stay. The staff was also incredibly unfriendly and unhelpful. We checked into our room and we noticed it had mold on the ceiling bathroom, stains on the sheets, hair clumps on the sheets, and a couple of flies buzzing around. The hotel staff kindly gave us a new room after hearing our bed was dirty. Unfortunately, the new room smelled heavily of marijuana, the refrigerator did not work, the towels had stains on them, the mirror was broken off the wall, and we found a cockroach roaming...
