"Such a fun stay at The Foothills Motel in Auburn! The room was clean, cozy, and newly renovated, and you can really feel the care and passion the owner has for this place. The decor and overall vibe totally took me back to the 1950s in the best way. I loved that it’s pet-friendly, and I am already planning to bring my dogs next time. A small dog run or off-leash area would be an awesome addition. One small note, we only had two towels in the bathroom, and a couple more would have been nice, but...

"In Auburn just for a quick family visit, and stayed here. The room was great, the plugs worked, everything was clean, water was hot, staff was really nice, breakfast was very satisfying and good. Check-out time is noon so the extra hour was much appreciated. Has a workout room and a pool. We felt safe and It was quiet and there is an electric car charger right next door. All for a really low price. My husband and I joked about going there for vacation because we were so comfortable. "

"The property is well kept & the house is beautifully decorated. While I did not use the pool during my stay, I did use the hot tub & it was a lovely escape after being in the cold river training all day. Also, you are provided with actual keys for your room. I love that feature. The breakfast was also very tasty. "

"The checking was easy. I had prepaid for the stay. Miki was very helpful with my special needs accommodations. 1st floor, service animal. She was very nice and i enjoyed speaking with her. For me, simple is perfect. I needed very little. My room was efficient and was all i needed. The room was clean and bright. Nice bathroom and shower. Good water pressure and plenty of Hot water. My queen bed was comfortable. The sheets and pillow cases were clean and fresh. There was enough for space...

"I love staying here when we’re in the area. Kids love the pool when it’s warm, the views and beautiful, and the hotel itself is very clean. The rooms are spacious and quiet, which is helpful when traveling with kids who go to sleep early. We all love the continental breakfast and look forward to retuning each time we leave. Will be retuning soon."
