Based on that, I went ahead and made other arrangements. When I followed up, everything changed. The manager refused to honor what their own staff had told me and was not only unhelpful, but outright rude and dismissive. No accountability, no attempt to make things right—just a flat-out refusal and a bad attitude. It’s one thing to have policies, but it’s another to mislead guests and then hide behind those policies when it’s convenient. Communication within this hotel is clearly broken, and customer service is nonexistent at the management level. I would strongly caution anyone booking here and get everything in writing, because what you’re told upfront may not mean anything later"

"We had a very good experience. A great location two blocks from Harvard Yard. A nice, tidy building with smallish rooms but everything is pleasant. The young staff seem to all do a dozen different jobs and they really aim to please. We had a toilet tank that needed minor repair because it kept running and the front desk clerk came up to fix it. The bottled water and individually-brewed coffee were great to have at any time of day or night. Some nice lounging areas with comfortable furniture where guests can visit with each other. The parking garage was a great convenience as we had a car."
