4/10
Around 6 PM on June 7, water started dripping heavily from the ceiling onto the carpet in our room. I called the front desk, and an engineer came to address it. While the dripping stopped, it was still a major inconvenience—especially while trying to enjoy a short family trip from out of town.
Later that night, around 12:45–1:00 AM, after returning from the concert, the leak started again—this time worse. Water was actively falling from the ceiling, and we had to use the room's trash can to catch it. My daughter and sister were already asleep, and we were all exhausted. I called the front desk again, but there was no engineer available. The only option was to wake everyone up, repack, and go down to the lobby to switch rooms at 1 AM.
The front desk agent was kind and apologetic, saying management would be informed. However, when I checked out the next morning, I was told that I needed to contact Expedia, and that only Expedia could reach out to hotel management on my behalf.
The room we were moved to was smaller, more dated, and the TV didn’t work properly. I have videos of the ceiling leak and the state of the rooms if needed.
This was a very unpleasant and disruptive experience during what was supposed to be a fun trip.
Expedia tried to reach but no one from the hotel picked up…how convenient so nothing has been resolved since…we’re still waiting
