"The idelogical socialist name, Marx, should have been a warning but did not faze me, having stayed at third world/iron curtain hotels. However, the empty lot was a definite red flag...too late. The empty inoperative cocktail lounge was very telling, but we pressed ahead and had dinner off premises...on ..."
