"The owner, Heather, was very welcoming and hospitable. Heather was informative about the local sites and places to visit. A peaceful location outside Skipton. Well appointed accomodation, although be challenging for less mobile guests due to the stairs and bathroom, however there is a stair lift to help. Good wifi and lovely to be given welcoming custard tarts and butterscotch toffees."

The local church bells add such a lovely, traditional touch to the stay. We also spent some time at The White Lion pub, which we’d definitely recommend to other travelers. "The accommodation was fantastic, felt brand new, the location is a bit noisy due to the bus depot next door, they advertised two parking bays but only one was available which due to the lack of parking spaces in the area was quite inconvenient."

"Absolutely lovely property in the centre of Howarth. Very well presented, super clean and tidy and had everything you need for your stay. There was fresh milk in the fridge and lots of little extras that made the stay even more enjoyable. Only challenge is the parking but I'm sure that is the same for every property in Howarth. The streets are very narrow and many properties have cones outside or big 'no parking' signs so you have to be lucky to find a spot nearby. Other than parking, we...

"Beautiful spot, fantastic hosts and the cottage has every item you could possibly want. Having tea/ coffee/ washing up liquid etc is so helpful when you are self catering. The wine was a lovely touch"
