If you want big, soft, fluffy towels...

If you want big, soft, fluffy towels... Bring your own. I normally read reviews before booking, but this was the only hotel in Columbia that was listed on Hotels.com. I won’t make that mistake again. The A/C worked. It actually looked like a new unit. There is an indoor pool that appeared to be heated. The room has a jacuzzi tub, if you're the type of person who takes baths in hotels. The room was very dark, with dark colored walls, floors, and bedspread. There were 2 dim lamps. There was no sheer curtain on the window, just the black-out curtain, so in order to let light in, you have to let everyone walking by look into your room. The bed was not comfortable. The room was not cleaned well. The toilet bowl had a pink ring at the water line. SECURITY ISSUES: The desk agent announced the room number when giving the keys to the guest. There was a notebook on the counter with guest names and room numbers listed.

Room reeked of smoke. Very dirty. I Asked to move rooms and front desk lady said they’re all the same. Spoke with manager Jessica the following morning who said she couldn’t offer any compensation because I booked through hotels.com. Columbia Inn doesn’t have a website so that’s why I booked online. Hotel.com tried to get me my money back and was advised there’s no refunds. Beware! Avoid this place like the plague!!!

The sheets were stained & the bed made a very loud noise every time we got out of the bed. Also the sink in the bathroom was broken. When turned on, the water ran out but also flooded the floor!

The early check-in was nice. The close proximity of the tiny dining area. The king suite was a JOKE. No sheers at the windows to help keep you from being seen by the public. Overall I would never stay there again let alone recommend to anyone. Thank you

Not worth the price.

The hotel was very old, which is not immediate a bad thing. The room very unclean, there were no basic toiletries provided and it was full of layers of dust everywhere which made for a miserable weekend of allergies. Unfortunately it was grad weekend and the better hotels that happened to be cheaper, were all booked.

Sad place to stay!

Well for 139.00 a night, this place left much to be desired. Dirty steps up to second floor. I have bad knees so that sucked. Rooms, fairly clean horrible bedding and beds. No complementary shampoos, conditioner and soaps. Everything empty in breakfast area in morning! Very dissapointed!

To start, the staff was fantastic and understanding. We had originally booked for two nights but simply couldn’t stay a second night. The room we were in was a “luxury suite”, post-remodel and it was terrible. Filthy air vents, drywall mud splattered everywhere, carpets never been clean, tub that was not properly installed and leaked, shower handle not properly installed so hot water was not accessible, curtain would not close and light came through all night. Avoid this hotel.

Don't stay here!

Room was clean but had a smell about it like lots of carpet fresh. We had no hot water for our stay and was not informed about it when we checked in. Desk clerk said they were afraid people wouldn't stay. And the housekeeper said it "was ok". We were there for a funeral and kind of hard to take a cold shower. Also, hot breakfast was nonexistent by 7. Supposed to be open 6-9. Overall terrible experience!!!

The property is old and does not meet the same standards I saw in the pictures online. The rooms did not smell good. The sheets, pillows, and bath towels were worn and not usable. I refused to stay at the hotel because of its unfit conditions. The hotel did give me a refund. I need a refund from Expedia.

**Review:** I recently stayed at Columbia Inn & Suites and, unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The bed in my room was extremely uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, the towels provided were abrasive and rough on the skin, which made using them an unpleasant experience. To top it off, the room had a persistent moldy smell that was hard to ignore. While the staff was friendly and the location convenient, these issues significantly impacted my overall stay. I hope the management can address these concerns to improve the experience for future guests.

Smelly but expensive

Two rooms smell musty and smoky. Was there 5 days and this is the only hotel within 30 miles. Expensive $120 plus taxes. The staff was friendly but Over priced and stinks. Windows don’t open. This is a last resort
