However, hated the spray spigots in the shower, the BR window frame was rotting, and just did not like the Bathroom at all; the AC vents were grossly dirty/molded throughout. The downstairs lobby area was very nice but everything in it’s entirety needed a good cleaning.. I would not recommend it."

"We had a wonderful 3-night stay in room 308. The staff was very accommodating of our late check-in when our flight was delayed. Room 308 is up two flights of narrow stairs which wasn't a problem for us since we didn't have heavy luggage. The room was clean and spacious, and I loved the soaking tub. The bed is higher than normal but they provide a step stool. There was a bit of a musty smell in the room but it was not unusual for being an old house, and it didn't bother me after the first night....

"Perfect location, terrible property. The historic nature of it is cool, but still disappointed by what we experienced here. Staff was decent, Mack the night attendant was the best. The chef who won them a couple Michelin Plates (stars for hotels) is no longer employed here, and they no longer offer dinner service at all. This is NOT a 5 star hotel for those who have stayed in one before. When I brought up our experience to the manager, he said “Well, we are not a self professed 5 star hotel”....

"The property is conveniently located in an ideal location centrally to many walkable attractions. It is on one of the most beautiful streets in the historic area. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The courtyard was a relaxing retreat throughout the day. The hotel was offering breakfast that was creative and delicious. They also offered an evening wine and cheese social which provided an opportunity to meet with others staying at the property. ...

"The hotel definitely has a lot of charm and character, and the property itself is very cute and unique. However, the soundproofing was a major issue — I could clearly hear conversations and even someone talking on the phone in another room. The amenities also felt worn out, with cheap towels and areas that could really use upgrades and refreshing. Overall, it has potential and charm, but in my opinion it does not meet the standard of a true 4-star hotel."

"The building is beautiful and very charming. The room we stayed is very spacious and it was for the most part well maintained considering that is an old building. The curtain to the terrace is not well placed and has zip ties holding and some wiring. The jet tub was not very clean and barely hot water. Fully open was just luck warming and even after waiting more than the 5 min they asked (15 min). I asked the staff to change the water heater temperature as plumber, I knew what I was asking. It...

"River Street Hotel was excellent. The location was great! Clean and spacious. Friendly staff. The bed was lumpy, bad pillows but comfortable enough for a few nights , for sure.. Easy to find this rental. The bar and restaurants do a good job keeping the area bustling. Love the area and the views."

"Staying at the JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District felt magical. The lobby was like stepping into Night at the Museum—every turn revealed something fascinating. The staff were incredibly courteous and made us feel genuinely welcome. Add in the easy walk to River Street, restaurants, and shops, and this became one of the most memorable hotel experiences we've ever had. We can't wait to return. ❤️"

"1/5 – Wrong Room, No Staff, Multiple Issues Booked a loft for a romantic getaway and arrived to find I had been placed in a 2-bedroom unit without any prior notice or consent. I specifically chose and paid for the loft. had someone contacted me beforehand, I would have rebooked elsewhere. Instead, I found out at check-in with no recourse. The problems didn’t stop there. The door wouldn’t open when we arrived, and we were left standing outside for several minutes because there is no staff on...

"Our stay was fantastic. The Inn was in the perfect area. Abigail was fantastic and very nice. She upgraded our room to a King Bedroom and it was one of the best rooms i've ever stayed in. The breakfast provided was wonderful and this Inn 10/10. One of the best B&B you can find. would highly recommend to anyone staying in Savannah. We will be back."
