"Some beautiful furnishings throughout. Some areas a bit tired and in need of refurbishment. Staff were all excellent. Breakfast was good but felt dinner prices a bit excessive for what was served. We had a beautiful newly refurbished bathroom ( bedroom not ) so here’s hoping improvements are going ..."

"Everything was great except the food i tried the lamb rump which was served extremely rare with peapods, green beans and mashed potatoes Lamb was very chewy to the point I couldnt eat it and peapods (not a great choice) were overcooked. Location is not near Dumfries which I had not noticed when booking ..."
