"The property is in a quiet cul de sac of the village. Note there are street lights in the cul de sac but none in the village. You need a torch. The place was clean. Good sized bathroom. Well equipped kitchen especially if you want to cook for yourself. The cottage is an ideal base for visiting the area with many attractions a short drive away. There is no where to eat within walking distance but the 2 local pubs are a short walk and the locals are very friendly. As we were there for a week...

"It's not a bad place. But filthy carpets were the main disappointment & filthy smoke butts outside the main door up stairs. Was there for 3 days, not once did I see anybody do any cleaning or replenish towels or tea & coffee. That's why it wasn't value for money. The owner should put more effort into the place, instead of just taking the money."

"The property, where do I start?! It was amazing! From the initial walk in it had a wow factor about it, we met James, he was very helpful, with the convenience of being next door if needed. "The staff are consistently amazing. The rooms and communal spaces are so comfortable and inviting. I love this hotel! My only feedback is that although the breakfast area looks lovely in terms of how the food is presented, some of the hot food was cold and not actually very nice. The eggs were very cold and rubbery ( scrambled) and the pain au chocolat and other pastries were chewy and stale. Slightly disappointing because it’s layout is very appealing. But I want that to be received positively because I do love this hotel and can’t really fault it"
