Nostalgia S Hotel(Kunming Dongfeng Square)
Great value! Modern fully equipped room, wonderful staff. Their gym only has cardio equipment though, it could use a few weights. My Apple Maps went haywire and took me somewhere a few kilometers away. Be sure to download Chinese Didi

DoubleTree by Hilton Kunming Airport
Beautifully designed hotel with super comfotable beds. A limited western menu is available for dinner, but there is a great western selection for breakfast on offer. The pool is huge. Very helpful staff with many speaking perfect English, if that's your language. Would definitely recommend
