The Lion Hotel Shrewsbury
Very old building and could do with a refurb but was clean and had all we needed. Situated in the town centre which was really convenient. Staff helpful. Parking available out the back which was tight to get around but managed not to hit anything. Reasonable price.

The Telford Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort
Fantastic last minute stay and so reasonably priced. Spa/Pool facilities were great. No Jacuzzi but the hot beds were a treat and very dark and relaxing atmosphere. Room was a nice size. Stunning view from our window. Would definitely return

The Granary
Nice quiet tranquil location, wonderful characterful property. A nice surprise to find a fully decorated Christmas tree up in the front room upon arrival! Contact with the host Jeanette very easy through text. Enjoyed the log burner on the winter evenings. Already thinking about a return trip next ...
