"We stayed two nights in a three-bedroom villa with two young kids and their grandparents. We are sensitive to cleaning chemicals but none of us had any reaction, no smell, so we could fully relax at the villa. The waterpark and the bigger pool were amazing, entertained our kids all the time, literally almost all day. We could spot some warrabies in the property, which was a good bonus. On arriving back later that evening on opening the room we were quickly disappointed. Generally the room was quite dusty and felt dirty. The curtains need replacing and were not hanging correctly. The TV remote didn’t work and the back of the air conditioners remote was missing. In the bathroom there was old soap in the soap dish, no hair...

"We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the room with a card from Lane Retreat wishing our 10year old @Buckythefriendlypup a Happy Birthday and enjoy our wine country celebrations. The breakfast selections were excellent. Parking was convenient. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Pool was clean. We including the poochies enjoyed our stay!"
