"Our stay was wonderful, everything is so close that we wanted to see, the gym is 10/10, and the restaurant was wonderful, complements to the chef. The coffee shop was also delicious, I’d give it 4/5 stars. We had a small problem with our room, the front desk handled it well and made sure we were good. Valet parking was nice, it’s a consistent rate no matter if you get your car out 1 time or 100 times. $70/night was extreme but worth it to keep our vehicle safe (the parking garage is just for...

"Very convenient to the Capitol, and the rooftop bar was very cool with views of the Capitol Dome. I went in the evening/after sunset, and I couldn't read the menu as it was a small narrow font and there wasn't much light. But the staff was very helpful and the property is pretty new; overall, really enjoyed my stay!"

"The staff was very friendly. It's a very popular place on the weekends for both guests and non-guests. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was probably the best I've slept on in a hotel. The room stayed really cool even with nearly 100° heat that day. The front desk was attentive. I liked that they communicated a lot via text. "This hotel was one of my favorites when it was still the mandarin oriental. It just doesn’t have that same class and grace anymore. The staff are not well trained and everything takes an excessively long time. The food in the lounge was terrible. The cocktails were the same as a pub and lacked craft. Turn down service was completely skipped for me, so I had to call to get additional water and coffee pods. The tv’s do not have chromecast or app capabilities, leaving you with basic cable options....

"Conveniently located in downtown DC. Great pool and rooms! We traveled with six adults and had two rooms. Two adults slept on pullout beds and the others slept in real beds. Bathrooms in each room were immaculate as were the other facilities. They have a cook to order egg/omelette station where they also serve the meat and potatoes of the day and it’s included with your room. We ended up eating in the hotel restaurant both nights and had good (but expensive) meals."
