"The property itself is located by the bay, which is lovely. But share the parking lot with Safeway and other business, which is full of homeless. We didn’t have any problems as we felt safe in our rooms, but not the ideal area to walk around."

"Staff was friendly and helpful with questions. Walking distance to dining option. If location had hot breakfast options i would rate 5 stars. While Coos Bay is not necessarily a resort town compared to Bandon, the Red Lion is a nice place to stay for families and pet friendly in this area of the coast. I would stay here any time."

"Coos bay is a favorite for me when riding through oregon. Lots of rides to go on. Coos bay is a fun town. The plainview is clean, cozy and a great place for motorcycles. Will stay again. "
