"It’s a nice place."

"We were looking to get away to the beach for a few days with our dog and Pacific Dunes was a great fit. The bungalow was clean and comfortable, our dog was welcome and best of all, we loved that we were just steps from the ocean. The location was fantastic!"

"Staff is very accommodating, proximity to the beach is great and I loved that they had a nice facility to clean clams. Unfortunately, our unit was very run down with very limited cookware, beat up/stained furniture, appliances that didn't work, heating that didn't work, no instructions for TV, check-out, etc. Floors were filthy and I even stepped in something gooey left behind by another guest. A good cleaning could go a long way."

"First time staying here. Amazing staff, very clean. Amenities are above and beyond in my opinion. Swing set, fire pit on demand, courtesy kayaks and boats, short walk to the beach, rooms are cozy and beautiful. Comfortable bed. Everything made this stay very pleasurable. "

"This is our go to spot , clean rooms, clean pool area , good breakfast and beach access. It does take a bit longer to get into the room but over all great. "

"Wouldn't stay there again, loud guest all night in hallway, didn't get the room I paid for luxury room got a handicap room on 3rd floor with shower water cold went to get copy of receipt for my pet couldn't give to me was not a good stay but did get a view of the ocean at least "

"Breakfast had a nice variety but nothing was hot. Room had a “sofa bed” that we needed to use but it did not fold out to a bed so I ended up sleeping on a couch instead of a bed. Several of us tried to figure it out but didn’t see how it classified as a sofa Bed. Staff were pleasant and helpful"

"Office staff was great, pool was great, little cold but y'know it's a pool lol They were fast to fix the shower that sprayed the ceiling, that was nice. But the toilet backed up, and I told the staff that was outside my room, and they brought me a plunger to do it myself. I didn't want to be responsible for it if something went wrong, that was bizarre to me. The heater seemed to only blow room temp air, not hot air so I called for extra blankets, and they brought them very fast so that was...

"Well, there’s no pool it’s out of order and hot tub and that was kind of a bummer. Other than that they weren’t real friendly they were OK. The breakfast was very small but we enjoyed our stay anyway thank you."

"First got there hair in the bed garbage left in corners the beds were not comfortable at all. Windows dirty couldn’t see out. Breakfast was ok card keys wouldn’t always work kept going to front desk to change them. Probably won’t stay there again."

"I read several bad reviews about this place, but my family and I had a great experience. I knew going into it that I booked a 2-star hotel, so I wasn’t expecting a luxury suite. There are trails behind the property that lead toward the beach, but we were told by another family that the path had been washed out and was very difficult to walk through. The check-in experience could have been better—the staff member lacked hospitality and didn’t make us feel very welcome. Room cleanliness was a major issue. "Parking is clear and right in front. Well lit too. Turret Room has a full kitchen. Room was clean and has heated floors. There is a fireplace, as well as a fan. Quiet property. Bed was uber comfortable. Hot water is quick. Water pressure everywhere (but shower) was amazing. Very homey and well maintained. Good price and so nice. We will be back."
