Folk Copenhagen
Folk Copenhagen"Modernes, sauberes Apartment-Hotel in guter Lage.

Where to stay in Copenhagen

Copenhagen City Centre
Copenhagen City Centre invites travellers to wander through a storybook setting of royal palaces and colourful canal houses. History comes alive at Christiansborg Palace and along Nyhavn's waterfront with its wooden ships. The pedestrian street Strøget offers world-class shopping and charming cafés just steps from cultural treasures. The area balances historic charm with modern Danish design in museums and shops. Tivoli Gardens delights visitors with vintage rides and twinkling lights against the urban backdrop. With excellent metro connections and bike-friendly streets, exploring Copenhagen's treasures becomes effortlessly enjoyable.

Vesterbro
Once a working-class district, Vesterbro has transformed into Copenhagen's hippest area. The trendy area pulses with creative energy around the iconic Meatpacking District where converted industrial spaces house galleries and restaurants. Vintage shops and neon-lit shopfronts create an eclectic urban canvas. The area boasts excellent connectivity through Central Station, frequent trains, and extensive bike lanes. Visitors can explore Carlsberg Brewery or catch performances at Vega music venue. From Michelin-starred restaurants to authentic ethnic eateries, Vesterbro offers dining options for every taste.

Nørrebro
Nørrebro stands as Copenhagen's hippest area where vintage shops and artisan cafés create a bohemian atmosphere. The area blends Danish design with multicultural influences, attracting creative types to its colourful streets. Hans Christian Andersen's grave sits peacefully in the historic Assistens Cemetery, a green oasis within the urban landscape. Metro stations make exploring easy with quick connections to central Copenhagen. Wander Jægersborggade Street for unique boutiques and speciality coffee shops. Budget travellers appreciate the affordable dining scene featuring everything from Middle Eastern shawarma to Nordic cuisine.

Christianshavn
Christianshavn blends historic charm with bohemian energy along Copenhagen's picturesque canals. The neighborhood's cobblestone streets wind past colourful 17th-century townhouses and Dutch-inspired architecture. Climb the Church of Our Saviour's spiral tower for breathtaking city views. Freetown Christiania offers a glimpse into alternative Danish culture with street art and artisan workshops. Canal-side cafés serve traditional smørrebrød alongside craft beer from local breweries. Getting around is easy with Christianshavn Station nearby and extensive bike lanes following scenic waterways.

Østerbro
Explore affluent Østerbro, where tree-lined streets and elegant 19th-century buildings create a peaceful escape from tourist crowds. This family-friendly area combines local charm with cultural attractions like Parken Stadium and Copenhagen's largest park, Fælledparken. The eastern edge features the beautiful Langelinie promenade leading to the iconic Little Mermaid statue. Upscale Nordic restaurants and boutique shops line the high streets. Three convenient metro stations connect you to city centre Copenhagen within minutes.

Top Copenhagen Hotel Reviews
CABINN Metro Hotel
"Simple, clean and comfortable rooms. Nice breakfast buffet available. Automated check in process was poor instructions only on Danish, could not read passport chip. Staff very helpful."
Steel House Copenhagen - Hostel
"A real find. We booked a double. Great location, great facilities"
AC Hotel by Marriott Bella Sky Copenhagen
"Problemes informatiques donc nous avons eu la chambre tard et nous avons même eu la clef d’une chambre déjà occupée."
CABINN City Hotel
"Was only the shower I had issues with. Everything in the little space gets wet"
Wakeup Copenhagen Borgergade
"This is just a room. No coffee. One pillow. Everything needed. Nothing extra"
Copenhagen Go Hotel
"The hotel was just ok. I only stayed there for one night on a long layover. It was close enough to the airport, one stop off the train and then a 5 minute walk. There is 1 restaurant in the area within walking distance. The hotel was pretty secluded, right off of a busy road. The room was small, but enough for a overnight layover. If you are staying more than 1 night, i would definitely find another hotel closer to restaurants, and actual things to do, like in the meat packing district."
Wakeup Copenhagen Carsten Niebuhrs Gade
"Very helpful that I could rent a bike and helmet in the hotel. Good location by the railway station. Staff helpful and knowledgeable."
