"Place is not clean, no coffee when needed at breakfast, we decided not to even think about eating there, way too expensive for what you get. The person next to our room checked in right before us, and we found them in the hallway staring into their room, pizza boxes, party left overs, beer cans, etc. all over. The room was not cleaned, extremely disappointing. We were able to harbor our stay, sheets for the bed were clean, but everything has a grime to it, and not making one comfortable. TV receptions was crap. no guide for channels.. Stains all over the phone, interesting, not sure what that's all about. Various items throughout the hotel appeared to be in disrepair and various states of damage. The lobby looks OK of an initial look, but that seems deception. Would not recommend on any level. The Expedia experience of booking and paying was just fine and will use again, but we were severely disappointed in the the stay. No way it was worth the money on Graduation weekend. They are definitely taking advantage. Book well ahead for Graduation weekend at Iowa, perhaps 6 months in advance if possible to get a room elsewhere, avoid this one at all costs. One thing not comfortable with for sure is they make a copy of your credit card for incidentals even if you have already paid thru expedia or whatever, and they make a copy of your drivers license. Strange I thought, can you say potential fraud? Most places just look at your ID and do not make a copy...never again."
