"As always the hotel was great and the staff were so helpful. After travelling all day in 43 degree heat, the air conditioning was a godsend. We were too tired to go out to eat, so we chose some prepared food from the chiller cabinet and it was heated for us, I had a chilli which was tasty and filling in the comfort of aircon, with a cold beer.
The staff were so helpful, and the room and bed very comfortable, one of the best night’s sleep I’ve had.
Thanks to everyone. A bientôt."
"Great value for money stay. When it was pushing 40 degrees outside the air con in the room was very welcome!! Room was clean, comfy beds and decent bathroom tho the shower was a bit difficult to keep on full power ( one of those where you have to pull the lever up to switch from water coming out of the tap to the shower head).
Staff were helpful and breakfast was reasonable.
Overall a much nicer stay than I had expected for the price."
"Such a hidden gem that we are so delighted to have discovered. A really good example of French hospitality at its best. A warm welcome and beautiful decor really made our stay feel special. The modern take on traditional features give this place a unique feel. The food was just fantastic as was the chef producing it. We will definitely be back and recommending it to our friends and family.
The rooms have everything you need and the bed was very comfortable.
Close to shops and a petrol station is very useful. The local towns and villages are worth a visit. Bonneval 5 minutes away and Chateaudun 15 minutes away in particular.
Great location for a stop of when heading to or from the south of France from the ports or tunnel in the north."
"A very useful stopping point on our journey through France, this modest hotel is reasonably priced and ideally placed for many local restaurants and other facilities. It is clear that work is under way to modernise and update the minor flaws. The rooms and communal facilities are modern and very clean. There is more than ample parking. USP sockets in the rooms would be very useful. I will certainly plan to visit this hotel again."
