"This is a 100 year old hotel in the village of Alert Bay. Our room had a small balcony with a great view. The breakfast included bread, fruit and yogurt. "My wife and I stayed a night en route to the ferry in Port Hardy. We are so happy we chose to stay at the Sportsman Inn. The whole town was so quaint and charming. The people were terribly nice. The food at the little pub was top notch. Some city joints could learn a thing or two. Our room was spottless, the bed was plush and soft. Parking was easy, and the staff was pleasant.
