"A great choice for exploring Merida. It’s not quite the 5 star hotel it’s listed as on some sites, but it is still excellent. Nice big rooms with character and good bathrooms. The pool is lovely (it’s also green: perfectly safe and lots of people were in it, but it was green). The bar isn’t a bar - it’s a cafe and it’s not open that late (for Spain) but that doesn’t really matter a the square out front has loads of bars. Stored my luggage on check out fine. Online check in didn’t work but front...

"Avec son style suranné, cet hôtel a un charme fou. Le personnel est très aimable, surtout au restaurant. Les chambres sont très belles et la literie très confortable. A ne pas manquer si vous passez dans le coin. Par contre les bains sont assez moyens et plutôt chers pour tremper une 1/2 h dans de l’eau chaude."
