"We enjoyed the area. The chalet was well equipped unfortunately everything you touched was really greasy. The cooker top was discussing. We only used the fridge and kettle throughout our stay thankfully I had mugs with us. Lots of cobwebs and spiders and a slug or snail across the carpet every night. "Stayed here for one night whilst we were visiting the area for a bike racing event and wow… we couldn’t have got luckier stumbling upon this place! The staff are lovely, the hotel - inside and out - is beautiful and the facilities they have are next level! We had their breakfast for a bargain rate of £12 per person and it set us up perfectly for our long day. Still thinking about their hash browns now actually! The room was comfy and quiet, and not boiling hot like other hotels!! The bathroom was nice and clean, and we had plenty of towels. The hand soap and body wash also smelt DIVINE!!! I must give a shout out to Lisa in particular. She was lovely and warm when we arrived and had no issue showing us to our rooms or to the gym facility. For the price, it’s an absolute gem. Looking forward to returning next year already! "

"We booked in here the night before we went to see the horse racing at Market Rasen. It was great. You had a lounge with sofa, coffee table, tv and at the other end was oven and electric rings. The bathroom had a shower and sink. Bedroom had a full sized double bed with wardrobe and chest of drawers. I was surprised at the size of the apartment (a lot bigger than I thought it would be). It is set in beautiful grounds with horses in the nearby fields, a lovely lake with an island. and surrounded by the beautiful countryside. We met the owner when we were leaving - a really lovely, friendly man. If we go back that way we will definitely book the apartment again. I highly recommend them to anyone thinking of staying there. 5*****"
