There was a broken window pane and the furnishings were dated. Bed comfortable. The food was disappointing. I had a seafood chowder which was pretty good and the fish tasted fresh. the main was a steak that looked pale and was not cooked with lots of fat and gristle, the vegetables were overcooked. "Hi, Cong is a lovely village to visit. All the staff I met at Ryan’s hotel were helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking behind the hotel. I really liked how in my room they had managed to keep some of the original stonework in the bathroom and bedroom. The bed was comfortable and I had a good sleep."

"The front desk staff is wonderful, particularly Shawn who carried my two heavy suitcases all the way to my room, and Cian who fetched two water bottles for us as we were leaving because we’d slept through breakfast and my daughter was thirsty. But backtracking to “carried my two heavy suitcases” for a moment, it was necessary because the property has no lift (elevator) but it does have a central staircase and then there were a couple of other smaller staircases on the way to our room. "What a cute little place! Beautiful hot shower after a day trekking the countryside and comfy bed. Many options in town for dinner and packed with locals. Very cute cows across the road and gorgeous views from the window. "
