Takes well trained staff to turn around a negative situation into a truly customer experience. Morning of April 23, 2025, arrived at The Manor for breakfast around 9:00AM to find a queue. Patience is a virtue but when multiple finished tables were left unserviced during my wait, it was frustrating. The tables needed to be cleaned and returned for service asap, not sit there with mess on the table for over 10 minutes. Certainly the view did not match the decor or reputation of the hotel. When I was finally led to my table I expressed my displeasure. The staff, Fancy Wen, understood my displeasure and throughout the rest of my breakfast, was very attentive to my needs. I like to thank her and all of the other staff, as well as all who served me the following morning, with professional and well attentive service. The food at the breakfast buffet was all right, but it was the ordered dishes like eggs Benedict Florentine, or the waffles which I like to proclaim as the fluffiest yet crunchiest I have ever tasted. Bravo and compliments to the chef. The staff were always available to offer assistance and it was nice for them to recognize me and call me by name, even if it was only a short 2 night stay. Certainly look forward to returning again soon. As a well travelled retiree who traverses the world for golf and to view spectacular shows and events, the service at the St. Regis Macau deserve recognition.
