"The rooms were in terrible condition. Dark mildew in the bathroom, layers of dust around bathroom door, hair on floor that was NOT ours, couch was not cleaned for quite some time, we did not even want to use the pull out bed option as there was food and other dirt in the couch that looked like it had not been cleaned for months/years. Our patio was a puddle as water was leaking down from the pool area to the outside drain in the morning and flooding right outside our room/patio area. We could not even sit outside to enjoy the sunrise. Breakfast did not have many options. The view is beautiful but the Inn looks very outdated and weathered. Staff was nice."

"This trip was for Darnell McDuffie. Not only was it a small room for the price he paid, there was no free WiFi. Staff was rude. Just an all out bad experience. Not to mention the tape on the plug. He called it a hyped up Motel 6."

"The garden smelled so good and we loved the plants and the receptionist was kind and helpful. The downside is the bedding was a sheet and thin blanket and another sheet. There was no comforter. We were freezing!!! The heater works well but sucks oxygen out of the air would have been nice to have a normal blanket. Never had this situation at a hotel before. The other thing was the breakfast offered was mostly cerial, bread, fruit, there was bacon but it wasn’t like anything I seen before paper thin. Usually places have potatoes, sausages, waffles and pasteries . First time seeing that too. "

"I’ve stayed at other La Quinta Hotels before and it wasn’t bad .But this location in Irvine was horrible we checked in and saw how horrible the rooms are and checked out in less than 15 mins this place should be investigated for how poorly the whole place looks. Only good part is the refunded our money it was almost like they were not surprised how fast we came back to the front desk to check out. "

"The room was clean and smelled good upon entry. I had chosen this hotel because they served breakfast and had a laundry facility. We were traveling for greater than a week and needed the laundry facilities. Upon arrival, only one of the four sets of washers/dryers were in service. Then the change machine did not work. When asking at the front desk if they could make change so I could finish my load that was already in the wash, they could not provide coins but would send the maintenance man to check the change machine. They just put an 'out of order' sign on that machine too. I had to go to a local store a mile away, stand in line to get extra change. This was quite disappointing and frustrating! Breakfast was served later on the weekends, and unfortunately, we had early appointments on the weekend, so only took the food to go. It would have been nice to have fresh fruit or yogurt, or muffin along with the eggs, potatoes, and pancakes. It was functional, but the service was definitely lacking."
