"Bugs on the bed and bathroom. Unsanitary room, there was open chip bags in our room upon arrival, the walls and beds had stains on the Blankets and dirt on the walls. And lots of hair on the bathroom towels. It very much so smelled like smoke in our nonsmoking room when we got there. I had 3 kids with me and this was an unsafe environment for them. We checkout and asked for a refund so far haven’t heard anything back very disappointing "

"Everything was great except the elevator was overheating and would not run all the time. I was on the fourth floor and I had to use the emergency stairs a few times. I'm very able to use the stairs but some older folks had mobility issues and had troubles."

"The fan in the bathroom made a groaning noise when turned off. Just the fan noise when on. But that was more tolerable. Seemed to be caused by the outside wind. The small refrigerator ran making a noise all night. Staff problems. Refused to print a receipt. The reason sighted was that I had booked with a third party. In excusable. The third party (hotels.com) appeared to be a booking with the Fairfield by Marriott. In any case it is hard to be reimbursed with the excuse that I used hotel.com site. This last is infuriating and self-serving on the part of Marriott. I usually use Hilton properties and this is yet another reason to go back. The last time I stayed in Lawton, OK the Hampton Inn was filthy (mold in the shower and poor linen service) First time using Marriott product since I retired. I am reminded why I left."

"The staff that had checked me in and was there when I checked out had a terrible attitude. She was the 3rd shift staff. It was the same woman on both occasions."

"Room was ok clean sheets but there was a dead cricket under the pullout couch. A fishhook was holding up the shower curtain in the restroom. Breakfast was good and had a nice variety. Walls are thin so you could hear people coming and going, but otherwise it was comfortable."

"The people seemed nice and pleasant enough and let me know that it is not a fancy place. I would recommend they stay at this property if you are very tight on cash and a solo traveler. The listing says there is a pool and it is an empty hole. It says there is a fitness room and good luck not getting injured on this equipment from 1980 that doesn’t work. I’m not trying to be mean I’m just telling the truth so expectations aren’t high or what it claims to be. The owners did say that they are new and I hope they get some feedback and take it to heart that this place has a lot of potential. I hope is realize with some new energy put into it. Trash all around the complex and housekeeping knocked on my door once and I said no thank you and 30 minutes later a lady just walked in my room and received a view. I think she could could have done without. I also recommend to not have your staff just walk in to the room while it is occupied and the guest has expressed that it is not necessary. Major invasion of privacy when they were alerted before, but maybe she learned at my expense. Steer clear if you’re a couple or definitely a family and only stay if you’re just putting your head down for the night and there’s nowhere else. I’ll give it a try again down the road and hopefully this review will be much improved. The room did fit my needs for my solo traveling and if you are a guy exploring the area and need some basic accommodations, this is your place."
