Cottage tại Down

"Unfortunately I cannot post photos of the property but where to begin. When we arrived we were greeted with full bins and rubbish on the floor which we were told to pick up. The outside furniture is in a horrible state that I wouldn’t even let the kids sit on with the rust. The oven was in a disgusting state and the fridge door was broken. The state of the cottage was like nothing I’ve seen before. Which is very surprising considering that when you book this property you are then told that the...

"A truly wonderful find! Quiet, convenient, clean well appointed cottage, with attentive, friendly hosts. Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! "

"Nice place but facilities more than a little varied. No wooden spoons, but most bizarrely of all no freezer compartment in the fridge yet there was a wine fridge! Incorrect priorities there I'm afraid. You couldn't keep your lolly's in the wine fridge!"

"The location is good. Busy road during the day but quiet at night. The cottage has the charm of being old but it does require some attend to the deco, particularly in the bathroom and the kitchen. They could do with a refresh. Top bedrooms and the ones downstairs were in good order. "

"Very quiet spot away from the main road. Very comfortable, well equipped, and an excellent heating system (we had to switch it off). Just what we needed after a tiring day with our grandson."

"Excellent accommodation. Wonderful place. The place was immaculate, so clean. The decor was excellent. I can that the host has put a lot thought into the decor of the home. Cannot fault it, comfy bed with high quality bedding. One of the best places I have stayed. It was so relaxing. I would recommend staying here if you want peace and quiet, clean accommodation and a great host. "

"It was amazing. Surrounded by hills and the Mourne mountains and a view of the ocean in the distance. Woke up to cows in the front pasture and sheep in the back pasture each morning. So peaceful there. Cottage has everything one would need for a very pleasant stay."

"We chose this property for our family trip to Ireland because of its three bedrooms, vast array of amenities and location, especially its proximity to the city of Newry and, last but not least, its view overlooking the town of Warrenpoint and Carlingford Lough. By the time we got to 27 Pinewood Hill and settled in for our stay, we were blown away by the exceptional quality of our accommodations. All rooms in 27 pinewood hill including the three bedrooms, bathroom (walk-in shower), half bath and...

"Very nice country House. Quiet location. Close to Tollymore Park. Big upstairs bedrooms with nice showers. Lot of space for big family. Only downside in cleaning - spiderwebs and spiders on ceilings. "

"Rocklyn Lodge - what a place! The house, the location both absolutely stunning! The house is perfect for exploring Northern Ireland! The location, and views are out of this world! The house was brilliant, nothing had been forgotten - and tastefully modern with twists of history. Ll perfect stay! "

"Really peaceful place to stay, there was everything we needed in the cottage, i had to ring the host as tv wasnt working for us and the host arrived in about 10 mins to sort out. Weather wasnt the best when we where there, so it was nice and cosy staying in. I would recommend this cottage as we where very comfortable there "
