"It's a beautiful hotel and the dinner we had at the restaurant was excellent. We were also very happy with the shuttle service to and from the airport. However, for the price we paid, I expected air conditioning in our room, or at least a circulating fan to use. The one window opened only a sliver and it got pretty stuffy in our room fairly quickly. That was during May; I can't imagine what it would be like during a summer heat wave."

"Great staff, easy check in, breakfast is daily from 7:30 to 10:30. Highey recommend. Bus stops very close by for those who don't have a rental car. Bus 130 takes you straight into central Dublin! Perfect experience all around for Clontarf Castle and the staff"

"From check in to check out ..everything was smooth..welcoming ..very professional but courteous..
What really impressed me was shortly after going to my room reception rang to see if all was ok...and to let them know if I needed anything..one doesn't get that in a lot of hotels...

"The hotel itself is fabulous. Front desk staff are welcoming and helpful. My room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. My experience in the bar/restaurant was not a good experience. I was travelling solo and was treated like a nuisance because I was dining alone. I was very happy to sit at the bar while I waited for a table but 2 couples and a single were given tables before me.
