"Super location, however, property is quite dated and needs some attention. On entering the property there was a strong smell of drains and mustiness. The toilet and shower drains smelt throughout our stay, this did decrease with use of disinfectant etc but soon returned. On reading previous reviews I have since seen this was noted as a problem in 2024 so obviously does need addressing. There was also no laundry facility as advertised on website. "Beautiful property, fantastic location."

"Loved the location, quiet and lovely grounds. Was quite far from any towns, so if that is important, it might be something to consider. Not enough towels. Tiny kitchen area. All bedrooms and the only bathroom were all up a huge flight of stairs and the beds were very uncomfortable. Very pricey for what was offered. Would get unaffordable quickly if you stayed for very long. But it was a lovely home in a lovely area and very quiet and clean. "

"We absolutely loved Sion cottage. It was like a home from home . The things left there for us to use we’re so thoughtful (towels shower gel etc) and we felt very comfortable. The takeaway next door was amazing. We will use it every time we go hone to visit family ."
