"Impressive property with beautiful views of Loch Long. Well appointed, comfortable room and bed. Friendly reception on arrival and throughout the short stay. Really tasty dinner (reservations recommended) and breakfast, both served in really impressive wood-panelled drawing room. I wouldn't hesitate ..."

"The service in the restaurant was very poor. Arrived in the restaurant at 7.45 and one starter arrived at 8.40 and never got the second starter. Food overall was just average and had to request our drinks repeatedly. Not anywhere near what you would expect in a five star hotel."
