"Parrot key was amazing. We visited as a family of four and the service, pools, rooms etc. was really above expectations. The pools where heated, clean and fresh rooms, good service from the bar/restaurant staff, free sundbeds at Smathers beach and the check in was really smooth. I travel 200+ days a year for business in EU and US and I really recommend this place as a vacation spot."

"We loved the Resort and friendly staff. The lighting at night on the trees was so pretty. Our room was a bit old feeling, however it was clean and comfortable. The private beach and hammocks were such a plus to our stay! We will be back forsure."

We were well taken care of from the start - staff explained we could store our luggage at the hotel and use the pool, restaurant, etc until check in. "Author's Guesthouse was at a great location for us! We enjoyed the privacy of our room, it was clean, and the perfect distance away from the hustle and bustle of Duval street. It was on a busier street but with the plants\trees\fence traffic did not bother us. I liked the gates locked at night (even though I never felt unsafe on the Island).
