"Ideal overnight stay in the airport."

"Th Leicester Inn is a very old listed property and as such has some wonderful aspects giving it great character. Being old and listed also means that modern features like double glazing and air conditioning are not present and we stayed on one of the hottest days of the year. Our room was very hot but a fan was provided and we were able to have an open window. There is a good size car park at the rear of the Inn. Food and service were superb."

"Overall stay was okay, venue in itself was clean and well maintained. However there was no restaurant open due to a conference being held, only the bar was open with a limited menu. Food took over an hour to arrive and staff had to be reminded several times. On arrival food was cold and at that point not enjoyable for the overly expensive price."

"Marvellous breakfast and staff who were extra helpful, finding us a room more suitable for the elderly than the original booking. Room was very convenient and clean, Both of us sadly found the beds uncomfortable and the ac very cold! Large car park at the hotel but like so many hotels these days, the main dining room was unexpectedly closed to individual guests in the evenings due to a party booking, both the nights we were there. Fortunately we found a fantastic pub 5 minutes walk away...

"The hotel was beautiful and spacious. When we were there we ate both dinner and breakfast outside which was lovely, again looking over extensive grounds (although oddly the second tier of the garden below the main level was not well maintained at all) However the feel of the place was a bit chaotic and we heard a number of guests complaining about things which should have been easily remedied (tvs not right, AC not entirely working and so on) We had a lovely dinner but one of our servers made...

"Quirky stay in Tunbridge Wells. The theme is fun and throughout the restaurant and hotel- decorations, staff uniforms, music and menu options. Lots of parking right outside. Food was lovely. The breakfast had unlimited coffee and juices and lots of options. The only downside was we went in the heatwave and the only thing available was a small desk fan so the heat was unbearable in the room so we slept really badly, could do with additional larger fans in the rooms"

"Convenient location to Gatwick airport. Our family room has probably been vacant for a while since we could see the dust on the small table and on the surface where the kettle was. However, our overall stay have been pleasant, staff friendly and helpful. Room was decent for the price."

"A lovely traditional pub within striking distance of many beautiful places. The food was always great particularly the breakfast and came out wonderfully hot and on hot place which is so often an issue in other hotels. It's lovely to sit out in the garden and we were staying while the World Cup and Wimbledon were on and it was easy to catch the games in the evening but also lots of space to get away from the action. "I liked the location near the motorway - it's a busy golf and leisure club. Car park was full. Very quiet location, rooms spacious but there's no air conditioning. Nice bar where you can get a drink or a snack. Breakfast was nice - service not quite on point"

"Beautiful room. Bathroom was a Wet Room very useful for limited mobility and ease of showering. Nice toiletries. (No tissues though. That’s the only negative). Food was ok. Garden was amazing. Breakfast was first class with good quality ingredients served by 2 very friendly happy ladies. Sean & Chris were very welcoming. Overall a great find will def be back. Lesley & Mike"

"We’re so glad we decided to stay here instead of some chain hotel! It had so much character & charm. Our room was large & very comfortable. The bathroom was also large & beautiful. Breakfast was delicious. The grounds could use a little TLC (my husband was a landscaper 😉) but they were beautiful nonetheless. There was a wonderful Pub within walking distance where the food & atmosphere was wonderful! Perfect ending to our European vacation. Thank you 😊"
