"Not a luxury apartment, kitchen and living room are nice enough, bedroom is not that pleasant and bathroom was completely awful- shower barely worked, smelt of cigarette smoke, poor lighting, no shelves that could be used."

"A last minute refusal by another property to honour our booking meant we had to quickly find an alternative. With hindsight, this was actually a good thing when we found this apartment. Marlborough was simply excellent. Lovely apartment, great view over the river, spotlessly clean, great location (convenient & quiet), easy reserved parking and lovely staff. Without a doubt will book here again on our next stay in the area. A great find."

"Beautiful property within walking distance of restaurants, takeouts, stores and pubs. All in all a great stay since being there for 5 nights we had a kitchen/fridge/dining table and living room - especially since most breakfast restaurants are not open until 9am. Had some questions about the hot water and the owner was responsive and helpful. Only complaint was too many stairs for us with luggage since I am diabetic and had a broken shoulder. Wasn't a problem without our luggage."

"Excellent stay at the hotel. I was in Ayr for a job interview. On the last night I asked the lady at reception if there was anywhere to store my case as my interview was at 0830 the next morning and it might be tight to meet the 10.30am check out. She gave me a late checkout with no charge. I really appreciated it. I ate at the hotel on the 2 nights I was there and the service was amazing, really nice atmosphere, food was served quickly and was piping hot. If I’m ever in Ayr again (I didn’t get the job!) Horizon will be where I stay! "
