"Everything we stayed 2 nights in the lodge with hot tub very comfortable and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly, especially Emily on reception. Breakfast was disappointed as there were not a varies."

"Beautiful house,very clean and I saw them cleaning the room after we left and it was very thorough. Food superb and substantial with canapes and sorbet mouth cleansers we could not finish a substantial main course and no room for desert. Service friendly. "

"Our stay at Thornbank couldn't have been better. Jane and mark were wonderful hosts. The hotel was easy to find. Impeccably kept and had all the amenities you need. You could book breakfast and a variety of options were available. The lication was great perfevtly placed halfway between windermere and bowness for places to eat. The frontage of the house was beautiful with lots of flowers too which was lovely. We had a great time and would highly recommend"
