"This was our first stay at McMillan Inn. It was somewhat of an unplanned trip and just by chance we booked one night here. Jackpot!! We booked the Montgomery Room and it was like a storybook dream. The clawfoot tub, the king bed with fireplace, huge windows, and on and on. The property is magical. Sitting on the front porch swing at night with a glass of wine is worth the stay. Lots of offerings but fruit was gross and bruised. Bananas almost seemed like they had been frozen and thawed? Gym was very small which is fine, but very dirty. The one yoga mat they had was old and thin, when I wiped it the wipe was brown.... Clearly never cleaned or replaced. Then one of the elevators was broken the whole...

From entering the home we were greeted by our wonderful hostess Abigail, we found her to be friendly, polite and very accommodating with answering questions and providing information about the area. "Exactly as described with a few pleasant surprises like wine and cheese cocktail hour and a delicious breakfast of sweet waffles with praline syrup, and savory sausage and potatoes out in the courtyard. Loved the Oglethorpe room plus Charles was very knowledgeable about the homes history - way better than google! Street parking (payment required 8am-5pm) was a bit tricky but staff was very helpful in guiding us! Savannah is definitely walkable from this home. Highly recommend!"

"We loved the stay and the location in Savannah is perfect, from being close enough to all the historic district sites, and the river. Very walkable area. There was an issue with the smoke alarm in our room that the staff was very helpful with making right and following up on. The staff seemed genuinely happy to have us there and to help make our experience in Savannah a good one. The breakfasts were super tasty and portions just right; amenities were spot on and we looked forward every evening ...
